DESCRIPTION:This workshop is a six-week certificate program designed to prepare you with the knowledge\, skills\, and techniques necessary to become an effective online instructor. This program will integrate contemporary technology into teaching practices and learning activities using software\, cloudware\, and resources that integrate curriculum objectives and educational goals.&nbsp\;The Online Teacher Certification Program requires only one in-person meeting. The majority of the work will be completed online. Participants should expect to spend 8-10 hours/week to read course materials\, to complete projects\, to participate in discussion forums\, and to develop a professional portfolio.&nbsp\;Successful completion of this program will provide you with skills\, such as:&nbsp\;
 Planning\, designing\, and incorporating strategies to promote active learning\, interaction\, and participation in online learning environments 
 Modeling\, guiding\, and encouraging legal\, ethical\, safe\, and healthy behavior related to technology use 
 Creating and implementing online assessments
